Hello and welcome to Beth’s Journey! I am so excited to say that my story was featured today to kick off the Health Heroes series on the Washingtonian’s Well+Being Blog. Me? A health hero! It’s so surreal because I can vividly remember reading story after story about people changing their lives years ago when I myself was obese. I was so envious and only dreamed of the day that I would have a similar story to share. And what do you know? That day has finally come! I am so unbelievably happy. 🙂 You can see the article here!
A little bit about me… I’m a 26 year old foodie (and healthy living blogger) in the DC Metro area. I have been in DC for almost 9 years since I went to undergrad here, and I love it! I currently live in Arlington, VA and work in downtown, DC near the White House. I started this blog because health and fitness became a real passion of mine once I decided to change my life, and it’s not something I do at all in my day job. I wanted to start doing something every day (besides eating healthy and working out) that I was passionate about, and that’s how Beth’s Journey came to be.
